Fanatics' Mike Lowell Makes An Error

The Generals are looking to rebound after their decisive defeat at the hand of Geoff Stein and Mock Draft Central. Todd Farino described it as our "Waterloo" but it was much closer to our "Deliverance."

The Generals pitching staff is having a strange week, letting up lots of runs with a good WHIP, losing ERA and winning in WHIP. As usual we are losing Ks and Wins, but winning saves. Offensively it has been a strong showing as the Generals' offense rebounds from its poor performance last week. Generals' utility man Mike Jacobs said "I have no idea what this guy is doing, we have no starting pitchers and he is keeping me on the bench while I hit 6 HR." After a locker room confromtation, Jacobs' demand for playing time was met and he was activated over Jermaine Dye.

Fanatics' owner Dan Cypra has been been pulling a Howard Hughes, holing up in a Las Vegas hotel wearing kleenex boxes for shoes and gorging on banana ripple ice cream by the gallon. Cypra could not be reached for comment. However a represntative said he was being treated for "exhaustion" and would be returning to "fantasy baseball related activities" shortly.
