I am beginning to understand the depths of Evan Dickens' avowed homoeroticism for Brandon Lyon. Said Evan, on the FBSEL homepage:

Let me tell you guys something, I am a happily married man, but I am this close to going gay for Brandon Lyon.

Lyon is seriously the bane of my existence right now. I have been strident on my opinion that he will lose the closer job and will be poor this year. An opinion echoed by the way by Evan's former co-host Tony Cincotta. Well, apparently Evan had a nice chat with Lyon while they were swimming away in la-la land. Lyon is abso-freaking-lutley killing me this week. He has three saves, leading Evan to a rout in the saves department, and has been untouched all week in the walks and runs department. Lyon may make the difference between a win and a loss this week.

Good call Evan. Whatever you said to Lyon while you were cavorting in the nude worked, at least for this week. Now I just have to find Heath Bell's address so I can take him cavorting...
