Best Pickups
Here's an early look at some of the best post-draft pickups.
- Stoney's Lounge - Rick Ankiel, Johnny Cueto.
- Melnick & Greco - Edison Volquez.
- Baseball Geeks - Orlando Hudson, Mark Reynolds.
- Fantasy Baseball Geeks - Nate McLouth.
The season is only five percent over, but I'd say Stoney has bolstered his team the most by free agent additions.

17 HRs in 366 ABs last season for Reynolds. What's not to like? Power up the ying yang... will likely hurt me in BA... but 30 HRs seems like a lock.
Add that he will likely get OF eligibility when Tracy comes back, and he gets even more valuable.
O-Dog is attractive, plain and simple, because of the walk year.

He did a good job, and its funny how he picks up so many free agents yet in his league he restricts free agency. Ankiel and Cueto are good, but Cueto will wear down in the second half when it really matters, and Ankiel show cool off somewhat.
I like the Reynolds pick up allot
Free agency is one of the reasons that I hate daily leagues so much... I would restrict in a daily league, too.
My last daily league (before this one), one team had 70+ free agent moves. That *STILL* makes me queasy.
That's fantasy baseball?
Fantasy, indeed.
